Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
1. Data We Collect
We collect account information (email, business name), phone numbers, call metadata, and lead communication data necessary to provide the service.
2. How We Use Data
To operate Ringback: process missed calls, send follow-up messages, sync to your CRM, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
3. Data Storage
Data stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Twilio infrastructure. Encryption at rest and in transit. Retention follows applicable laws.
4. Third Parties
We use Twilio (SMS/voice), Stripe (billing), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy.
5. Your Rights
You can export, update, or delete your data anytime. Contact us for assistance.
6. SMS Demo & Marketing Messages
The “Experience Ringback now” form on our homepage lets you see exactly what a missed-call follow-up text looks like in your own phone. By submitting your number and checking the consent box, you agree to:
- Receive one demo SMS at the number you provide, sent from our Twilio number. The message is identical to the one a real Ringback lead would receive.
- Occasionally receive marketing messages from us (product updates, tips for service businesses, occasional promotions). Message frequency varies; typically no more than a few per month.
- Understand that message and data rates may apply— standard carrier rates from your mobile provider.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will stop sending marketing messages immediately. Help is available by replying HELP.
- We log the consent with a timestamp, your hashed IP address, and a coarse device fingerprint for abuse prevention. We do not store your raw IP.
- We do not share your number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
If you do not check the consent box, we will still send the one-time demo SMS so you can evaluate the product, but we will not send you any marketing messages afterward.
